This movie really touched something in me. I had a personal experience with a tramatic event, and this film captured the emotion. You do feel like your 91 cms off with the rest of the world. Sure you can adjust and function, but as said in the film: “It’s bound to leave its mark”. Outstanding.
GREAT!! I really thought this film was the most original and it was unexpected in every way. I liked the Swedish entry, and was torn between that and Shkizein.
The prize for editing (Miente) was well-deserved as well.
In fact, three of my four favorites all were awarded prizes. We never miss this wonderful festival.
I really enjoyed this short and am glad it won. It was odd, becuase the night it screened, it wasn’t my first or second choice. But afterwards this one grew on me and had me thinking. Someone else mentioned having been through a traumatic event and how it leaves you feeling…well, disconnected. I understood that, and realised the film had a slow-burning similar effect on me.
I loved it. It addressed that out of body feeling you have from a personal trauma or how a mentally ill patient must feel and how we alter our surroundings to accommodate.
Usually I don’t welcome animation, but this one… I can say I fell in love with it straighr away.
Some of the other films subjects were already familiar to me (i’ve seen them in other feature film or shorts before), so it wasn’t new for me.
But this one is so special and original. Outstanding!
I am happy to see that Shkizein won! It was funny and profound. I did not vote for it on the night of the festival but it is a cool film – dark, funny and profound.
This one really touched me. One of the best animation shorts in a while.
Hi Mia
I was going to say that. I loved it as well
Loved it!!! such a funny concept and beautiful execution.

If Henry can adjust…so can I…in fact, can’t we all?
By the way…félicitations…Jeremy and Henry!
